Darin Drown

Voice & Choral Director

Darin Drown taught high school vocal music for 32 years in Kansas, Missouri, and Colorado, and retired from Grandview High School in the Cherry Creek School District in Aurora, CO in 2024. The choirs from his high school performed several times at the Colorado Music Educator's convention over the years, and consistently received Superior ratings at state and regional festivals. He was twice named "Teacher of the Year" in two different schools over his career, and School District Teacher of the Year one time. Darin directed the Sound of the Rockies chorus for 15 years in the Barbershop Harmony Society, and the chorus received international medals 7 times under his direction, reaching as high as 3rd place, and led the Velvet Hills Chorus in Colorado Springs, CO in the Sweet Adelines Inc. to two international contests. Darin is a certified Singing judge in the Barbershop Harmony Society, and he coaches barbershop quartets and choruses all over the world. He also sings baritone in the BHS 2010 International Champion quartet, Storm Front. He is a certified EFP in Estill Voice Proficiency.

Mary Ann Kehler

Voice Teacher & Performance Coach

Mary Ann Kehler is best known for her work as a voice teacher and performance coach; she is also a theatre director, audition coach, and best-selling author. Mary Ann is skilled at voice rehabilitation and is a "go-to" for keeping professional voices healthy. Her clients include musical theatre professionals; pop recording artists; lead singers for rock, country, bluegrass, blues, and metal bands; club musicians; singer/songwriters; classical choral soloists; worship leaders; voice teachers, and high school students auditioning for college musical theatre, acting, and singer/songwriter programs. Mary Ann served seven years (2018-2024) as President of International Voice Teachers of Mix and is an IVTOM Mentor Teacher. She happily travels the world, training voice teachers and assisting singers, presenting in voice conferences and theatre education events. Mary Ann calls Denver, Colorado, USA home and is equally enthralled by the Rocky Mountains and the New York Theatre District.

Tyler Wigginton

Musician & Composer

Tyler Wigginton is a musician and composer with wide-ranging musical passions. A native of Denver, he is an avid singer of a cappella music and is internationally recognized for his skill in the field. He has co-founded multiple critically acclaimed groups and has competed at the international level, ranking as high as 5th in the world at the Barbershop International Singing Contest. He is a regularly sought clinician for all things a cappella, and has worked to contribute to a strong youth movement in Denver. He also works regularly as a session singer in the Denver Metro Area.

Tyler's greatest musical passion is composition. His music has been performed across Colorado, Great Britain, and Germany. His works have been performed by notable music ensembles such as The NotaBene Chamber group and the Playground Ensemble. In 2016 he placed 2nd in the Joseph Dorfman International Composition Competition and in the same year he was selected for the Max Dijulio award for Composition. He has been a featured composer on several Colorado composer concerts and is a member of Pi Kappa Lambda.

Tyler completed his B.A in Music Composition from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2017 and is currently pursuing his MA in Film Music from Berklee.

Suzanne Morrison

Vocalist & Voice Teacher

Able to sing a beautiful melody as well as create exciting improvisational jazz solos, Suzanne is in demand for classical, jazz, and pop singing. She has appeared as featured vocalist with numerous professional and university ensembles — the likes of jazz trumpeter and composer Kenny Wheeler, the University of Northern Colorado's Lab Band 1, The Yellowstone Big Band, the Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra, the Ultraphonic Jazz Orchestra, New York Youth Symphony Jazz Band Classic, and Ben Folds. Featured on several recordings, Suzanne may be heard on such albums as UNC Jazz Lab Band I's Alive XVII: "For the Last Time!" Andy Nevala's "Waiting in the Alley," and her own debut album, "From Where You Are."

In addition to her jazz work, Suzanne has enjoyed performing operatic roles such as the Queen of the Night in Mozart's opera "The Magic Flute" as well as serving as chorus master for several opera productions. She continues to be an active classical soloist and member of several choral groups, including Kantorei, St. Augustine's Chamber Ensemble, Howard Skinner's Choralfest, and the Colorado Bach Ensemble.

Suzanne holds a Master of Music in Vocal Performance and Choral Conducting from the University of Northern Colorado. Owner of Suzanne Morrison Voice, she currently teaches voice and beginning piano privately and serves as adjunct voice instructor at Northeastern Junior College.
